I believe the negative comments on team selection are based on a couple of things which both involve team selection.
1. The use of DR in the team, some hate it with a passion and mention it in thread after thread regardless of the theme.
2. The lack of threat in attack is because the same halves are being selected with no improvement over a sustained period of time, because it seems so obvious from the terraces some think it should have been addressed by now and are wondering why it hasn’t.

These are all people who are getting behind the team and must be going to the games which they base an opinion on.
Past top 4 achievements or 100% efforts aren’t being under appreciated or questioned, rather it’s current players ability and future achievements that is the concern because we all know the potential consequences if we slip down the table.

Where I come from is to try and encourage change . Use what is available from wherever. If we don't break the mould you get exactly what you always got.

The best example I can think of where we missed an opportunity was Rawsthorne. He should have been playing first team months before Hull spotted him as a non contracted player at one reserve outing. Our loss shown in 40 yds of pace last week. Who was going to catch him? If they spotted him why hadn't we used him?

I am trying to push us into change before it's too late and despite all the commitment in the world we just accept our lot. But I still will be there in the cold shouting and encouraging this afternoon.

Back to the game. Does anyone know if it's definitely on or if there's a pitch inspection planned?

I do agree that we lack "sparkle" where it matters most, but fixing that isn't an easy task.
