Yes we certainly played our get out of jail card. Yes it might have been a poor performance but we battled till the end against a very solid Swinton side and eventually wore them down and just managed to get the 2 points. They do seem our bogy side and I was just relieved to get the win in the end.
Chester Butler once again got the Shay Lounge MOM and 3 points along with the Hitman award 2nd with 2 points was Will Sharp who was the sponsors MOM. 3rd and 1 point went to Shane Grady. Chester now joins Ben Johnston in the lead on 6 points with Ed Barber and Will Sharp next on 5 with Shane closely following on 4.
The half time draw winning number was 2453 for £161.
Next Sunday sees our rearranged fixture at Dewsbury KO 3.00pm. The supporters coach leaves at 1.15pm. Adults £9 juniors £4. Phone me on 07714488080 to book. Following that is our game in London against Toronto at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday 28th April. We are still short on numbers for the trip to go ahead so if you need transport you need to contact me before Monday 23rd April when I can confirm if the trip goes ahead.
