we may be turning it around on the field but FFS is there any chance this club, just for once can all pull in the same direction to take us forwards instead of eaither backwards or stagnating.

Apparently the shop had without any trouble being providing the club with over 1k a week only directors will know the exact income . For aclub like fax that is a serious income stream they haven't had for years . I found that if I had jumped to a conclusion too quickly the easiest way to rectify matters with staff particularly ones you actually need and want to keep is to admit you got it wrong say sorry and if the income from that shop is remotely like the above come up with a solution damned quickly along with a cuddle and pint for malc. Which is actually what the club needs right now.

Even if the shop is taking over 1k a week the out goings far outweigh this. The shop won't turn a profit this year hence the argument with one party wanting to drop prices and another party knowing that is not feasible. The only problem this year is that those losses have to be covered by the club.

If I recall Malcolm ran the shop once before and was asked to allow someone else to do it, so this may be a repeat of his way not working with others.

Please do not forget that the directors, and Mark, all do this for no payment they all have the best interests of the Club at heart ----the question has always been about their competence...or lack of it.

When Marshall goes, we're really that close to a relegation/reformed club playing out of Ovenden Park with a hired golf stand, with the current board of directors.
