Re: Toronto home : Sun Aug 05, 2018 8:00 am
I truly think (hope) that Toronto could be there for the taking if all the stars align. We absolutely have to guard against what happened last time where they set out to and successfully managed to blow us out in the first 15 mins. Weather that storm and just maybe we can do it. The intensity at London should help us in that regard perhaps?

I still have the dilemna regarding TW going up (buggering off) or falling flat on their face. Either way we will still have a relatively strong side in their place if they succeed? Makes my skin crawl reading that idiot Kayakman's comments (TO HIMSELF!!) on their forum so losing him may make it worthwhile at least.

I can't make this game due to a family holiday - will their media team be showing it on TV does anybody know?

Good luck Fax.

AM I RIGHT? I'M NOT WRONG!

Re: Toronto home : Sun Aug 05, 2018 4:58 pm
Having watched the CC semis today, 2 things struck me.

Firstly, even though they've been playing well anyway, Catalans performance shows how these supposedly superior teams can be turned over.

Secondly, we should have nothing to fear from Leeds, they were awful. And with those 2 clowns Sinfield (great player, but looks gormless as a coach) and Lowes in charge, by the time we play them they'll be even worse. There's a very real chance they could get relegated, and wouldn't it be grrrreat if we helped to hammer the final nail in the coffin? :D

I think we can give Toronto a right shock right up them with the team we have available now. If Fev can beat them then so can we. Fullstop. Go for it boys !! Nothing to fear

I’m travelling all the way from Aus for this game, so they better bloodywin. Well, technically to see family and on holiday, but I only get to see them play once or twice every couple of years so time to turn up and show me the footy!

My Humble Opinion Only - let the knockers begin.

Part quote from The Beggars Littany by John Taylor circa 16C

From Hell,Hull and Halifax may the Good Lord deliver us.

Tony Fax, I also had similar thoughts on Sunday after watching Leeds, If Fax get into them early doors they could be rattled, especially if previous results go against them.
A lot may depend on the refereeing and whether it is S L or Championship 'rules'.

Being the foregone underdogs, nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Up the Fax!

The date he's registered isn't necessarily the day the signing is announced. They wouldn't sign him now if he couldn't play. They'd wait till the end of the season.
