Can't find the current accreditation rankings anywhere - in 2017 Wakefield had "requires improvement". They may have improved and become "good". Same applies to the Bulls. All the rest were "outstanding" apart from Cas and London who were "good".

Salford obviously don't bother, neither did Leigh.

I think we will see two of our players going to Featherstone Rovers on season long loans, increasingly more likely with them leaving squad numbers 1 & 2 vacant. My guess is Golding and Newman, recallable loans.

Frosties, I bet you can answer this.

I think it’s safe to say we all feel like we’re short in the pack. JJB and Ferres aren’t their former selves, Cuthbertson could be heading that way. We sold garbutt. Galloway retired last year. Ward is usually injured half the season. Mullally, Walters, Donaldson, sutcliffe, ormandroyd you would say are all quite lucky to be at Leeds. With only singo, Crosby, peteru, Merrin, oledski, ablett, Smith, ward when injury free, your top forwards for a club serious about winning things.

Obviously we have restrictions through the salary cap which means every club needs to carry some squad players. However I think we all feel we carry too many.

If we need to offload players to free up cap space (as we’ve been told). Then I’m happy to go with what we’ve got until next year. Then have a real push for honours.

But my question is, other than JJB who is actually off contract next year and who would we be likely to get rid of from that list?

I would think it would be Ablett Ormanroyd Walters Mullally. With Parcell heading back to NRL.

Isn't Ferres in his last year too?

Donaldson, Dwyer, Ferres, Mullally, Ormondroyd, Parcell, Smith, Walters. I’d be surprised if more than Dwyer, Ferres and Smith are kept on. JJB already confirmed as retiring

Excluding JJB there probably around £500k if cap there.

Lots of room for front rowers and wingers in 2020.

Ferres has to play out of his skin all year to get an extension, must be on a wedge.
