If JJB is entitled to a testimonial next year then I'd have no problem with him being around, so long as its on the basis that he'd be on a pay-for-play plus low minimum with no guarantee that he'll get picked and announcing that it would be his last season with Leeds. Testimonials are huge for a sport like RL, especially for a player like JJB who probably isn't on big money.
Having said that, won't next year be Delaney's 10th season as well? Would that mean he'd be up for a testimonial at the same time? If so, same deal.
Assuming they both stay, for me it would be on that basis - minimum wage plus appearance money but a clear understanding that they're not in the top 17 and might only play a handful of games if others stay fit.
