Exactly. Even if the club have real issues with a player off field, they're going to keep as quiet as possible if they're looking to offload them. Imagine trying to move on a player under contract whilst telling the world he's a poor trainer/unfit/poor attitude.

Good for him!

Looks like Seb ikahihifo could be on his way to you. Was fantastic in 2017, made the dream team and was a real handful on the field. 2018 he was a disappointment and didn’t deliver to the same extent.
I’m a bit mixed about this, if you get the Seb of 2017 then we are bolstering a weak pack whilst weakening our own. Sometimes a player needs to freshen up and a different team/coach/ethos improves a player.

You come at the king - You better not miss.

It ain't what you takin', it's who you takin' from, ya feel me? How you expect to run with the wolves come night when you spend all day sparring with the puppies?

Don't get why some people are getting so worked up over this.

Mitch has been a really good solid import but never a SL star. If we are to overhaul the squad and manage the salary cap it's inevitable that we'll have to gamble on letting some decent players (especially overseas ones) go before we complete signings

It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

I think it’s because he smacked James Tamou and instantly became a fan favourite in the process.

Stop it, that's far too rational, we can't be having that on here.

I noticed that Mitch thanked the supporters but said nothing about his team mates or the management ???? I think there may have been some ill feelings. If I recall, McD had issues with him also.

I thought all the messaging on this was very luke warm.

Sinnys comment felt very cold and clinical where as when someone leaves you normally get a lot more around their contribution.

Could be reading more into this than there is and ultimately it doesn't matter but it does have the feeling off a couple that's grown apart.

I’d take a fit Garbutt over most of the other props currently running around in SL. There’s quite a few (most) of our pack who I’d have preferred to have been sold on instead. I think this is the issue. It’s also unlikely we’ll sign anybody of equal or superior quality. We should have added a quality prop to go alongside Garbutt.

Having 2 Garbutt’s would have been the dream yes - but there must be good reasons why the club has made this call, and I think we have to trust in that. We’re not sure what end composition the new management is really aiming for yet.
