Lucky he is not doing time for this, 90mph police chase in residential area, flipped car, vexed. Not first offence either, 3 year ban not enough 10 years or Life ban.
Blames mental health every time he fecks up.

Leigh should sack him. He’s a disgrace.

Apparently he 'miscalculated his drinks that night'. Counting beyond 1 can be challenging for some, give him a break.

Leigh have a duty to set an example of expected behavior of it's players and staff right through the club. What message does this send out to junior players, fans, sponsors etc etc etc.... absolutely shocking. He should at least be fined and suspended by the club for a period.

He doesn't deserve sympathy for what he's done, and yet another bad look incident just supports the view some of us had that he shouldn't have been offered a long deal in 2022.

Having said that, it does have the feel of someone who is going to really struggle when he gives up playing, so in that sense he does need some support. Its up to Leigh as his employers to decide how they want to handle this, but I hope he finally recognises what a mess he's made of things. If not some potentially tragic headlines would not be a surprise.

I can really empathise with addiction and mental health conditions, it's hell to live with. Where I draw the line is multiple drink driving and dangerous driving convictions where the lives of others can easily be put at risk, for that I have no empathy.

And that's OK as far as it goes, but one day there will be somebody in front of that speeding car. Will he be a decent bloke then? He needs to take ownership of this stupid and deeply selfish behaviour before it ruins somebody else's life and not just is own. I'm so glad we are rid of him, especially considering the amount of young and talented players now at the club. Wouldn't want them to think this kind of behaviour is anything like OK.
