Well, could be a tough game against Halifax. I know they will come out hard in the forwards and they have a good, well balanced team. I don't know if they can handle our centres and full back attack though. Will be interesting to see if Fleming is allowed to play (Halifax could really use him in this game; a good player).
If Halifax allows our forwards to run at them they will eventually have to break down....but they are tough and have a good team spirit. Looking forward to the game and home crowd cheering on You Tube.

Still can't understand why you are the only Toronto supporter who posts on this forum. By the way ,referring to the team as Canadian boys is stretching my imagination somewhat.

The truth of the matter is that this forum is not welcoming to Toronto fans. Simple as that.
When I came on the stuff posted on the Leigh forum was pure vitriol and, to be fair if you want to have the honest conversation, you know it. I called them out on it and it has improved. But rather than taking progressive action I was labelled as a number of other posters, using fake accounts and vilified, then banned from posting in certain areas (never was told how long but a week, that was months ago).

The ironic part is that the threads were Toronto based in nature and I was the only Toronto fan commenting, so they (the moderators Atomic and a Hull one) banned me because I wasn't going along with the hateful narrative and willing to accept the public bashing of my club. I'm sure some of the posts are still there (I know they deleted many to cover their tracks) I fought back and they knew they lost. Truth aleways wins out in the end.

They feel threatened by the very existence of Toronto so most first automatically insult, then permanently ban any other ideas because they are afraid, really afraid. They want to direct the narrative to fit into their incorrect rugby perceptions; makes them feel better.

That is why there are not more Toronto fans on here and I think, deep down, you know it is the truth too.

TWP is here in RL, they are thriving and growing. This franchjse is not going to fail, rather it is very successful. We are not going anywhere. Some posters and moderators may love us or they may hate us, but the only way they can ignore us is to stay in their tin foil covered ancient boxes by banning us and making the site as unwelcome as possible.

Above point proven...just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean it is tripe...all that it means is that they don't agree with you. And that is no reason to stick cotton in your ears and put on blinders...in fact, the opposite in this particular case!

...then you might find folk more willing to have a meaningful debate with you?

Regardless, can't wait for the game on Sunday. TWP could have a real game on their hands if Fax can maintain their discipline (both with and without the ball).

I’m also from Toronto, and just discovered this forum, after many months on the Total Rugby League forum, where there are lots of us. I just hadn’t heard of this one until very recently.

Oh, and when I tried to Edit Team to set my favourite, Toronto was not among the options (but Gateshead was...).

I see TWP have failed to pay a transfer fee. Perhaps money is not so plentiful as Canoeman has asserted.
