Trouble is you put that up and it gets around social media that the club is in trouble. Everyone panics.

It didn't help that at the same time some gob poop on Yorkshire radio with Garry Schofield and the useless team on BBC Radio Leeds started speculating about Bradford's financial position - again! It's the go to subject for the poor poor standard of broadcaster on those channels to fill up dead air time.

I've watched that Yorkshire radio video with Schofield and those other two men, no idea who they are but all they is scaremonger and talk in riddles and hearsay. Schofield has no idea what he's talking about in that he's heard something from a players agent. problem is bradford being in shield is big news and unfortunately all these so called broadcasters are now offering opinion on something they know nothing about. Schofield would love to see us fold and go bust.

Garry Schofield took great pleasure in stating that we are no longer a big club. He tried asserting the fact about 3 times.

Not that i give a rats about his opinion but what exactly makes a club big? I always assumed that it was fan base which to say we still get bigger crowds than some SL teams to watch the second tier dross that the club have served up isn't all that bad. Leeds United are constantly referred to as a "big club" but that certainly isn't because they are any good or what division they play in. Basically, Schofield is just a spiteful c#@$.

Thats what fans of poor teams with decent crowds say.

Not going to claim to know the exact workings of it, but isn't York's issues more to do with relationship between their chairman and the council?

Fev are recovering from a previous owner who left them in the lurch without actually putting any money in

Workington town will be one of many clubs trying to raise money to survive on sub 1000 crowds.

Point is, the current structure of 23 round split isn't the cause. Bradford had more central funding for 2016 than any Championship club, yet still finished 5th, I'd be looking more at people within the club than the RFL.

The game has always been on "borrowed time", but the problems that need addressing run far deeper than whether we have P&R, franchising or middle 8s systems.

This is correct. All I hear from Leeds United fans are that they are a big club. My question is what makes a club big? I'm under no illusions that Bradford are by the way but I'm not sure that performance on the pitch is the measure by which it's taken.

A BIG club is one that the opposition raise their prices when you are in town.

It's not just them either - the T&A has stuck an article about Marwan Koukash still being "undecided" about staying with Salford for next season right next to a Bulls' story containing bits about about the Bulls' finances and which compares our relative crowds etc.

Are there credible stories [from somewhere a bit more reliable than twitter....] floating around the ether or are they just kite flying?

Didn't Ross say that at the Leigh game Dr K said that Mrs K was still interested in looking at the Bulls. Hardly concrete evidence (and it may also have been on Twitter, but he is more reliable than most).

Agree though probably as much hot air as it was when the original proposal went in two years ago.

Re: Next Year : Tue Jul 26, 2016 11:02 am
just watched the youtube clip "The Last Tackle - Round 23 Review" and it was a very depressing watch. Some was scaremongering but a lot of truth spoken. Worth a watch and make your own mind up. The worrying comment is when the journo stated he had been told by a few players that they were told the club was going into administration. Hope this is him making it up. They did say it as it is about a massive squad of average players. a team sheet without a number 7 and bringing in a young coach who has no idea of this league. Oh dear, it made the club look a right shambles - which unfortunately is what it has been and worrying times ahead.
Next couple of weeks could be massive for the survival of the club - once again.
