That's way I read the rules. only mentions higher leagues players being available for the lower league team. no mention of it being possible to do the reverse.

Bradford have signed an absolute gem off us in Gregg McNally.

He consistently covered 8km per game for Leigh more than any other player and was one of our only SL quality players last year.

Never seen anyone safer under a high ball and had superb hands, if he gets a 3 on 2 as a 3rd pivot more often than not picks the right pass and creates a try.

Very very quick aswell.

Will be far too good for Champ 1 if he gets anything like a platform to work with.

Really pleased with this signing. Played really well every time I saw him for Leigh. Reckon he will be a real threat from the back.

I like the look of our backline now. Some real pace, skill and options to get on the end of the breaks. Good competition for places too.

Pleased we are running with the reserve team option. It will allow a good pathway from the academy to the first team without the young lads getting battered before they are ready like last season.

A closer look at the away shirt. That detail is awesome, I love it.

Based on his performances at the back end of last season, McNally is still SL quality - definitely. Cannot understand why we didn't retain him. There are few better attacking full backs in SL, never mind the Championship, or League 1! His positional play when fielding kicks is uncanny, but he isn't too hot at returning those kicks. I was always critical of his defensive play, but having watched Mitch Brown (now at Warrington) and Ryan Hampshire (now at Wakefield) play at full back last season, McNally's defence was certainly no worse than theirs!

He can be infuriating at times, with his protests to referees - but he's not as infuriating when he's on your side!

A fantastic signing for you, without any doubt. I wish him well, and am one of many who are disappointed not to see him stay at Leigh.

No mention here of his weak defence or difficulty in clearing his lines. Too small for super league, and couldn’t displace Mitch Brown who made more metres than anybody else last season. Still should excel in league 1 this season.

Got in tonight, CL, and finding a PM from a Bradfordian regarding Greg, (not realising that by that time the deal was done) recommended him highly. Yes, recall him allowing a high ball to bounce in front of him (and an opposition try resulting) in a game early last season - humans are human. Still always wanted him at FB. Mitch was better at running the ball out, but Greg better at getting the ball into the oppos' castle (sometimes spectacularly so). Much better signing for Bulls than Smith (that was a new slant on buying a Pig in a poke - then again there was the talented but disloyal Mr Clare to balance things out - hmmmm - then there was Tonga - perhaps we owe them a good 'un?).

Made up that Greg will be playing pro RL next season. In 2018 it will be in C1, but he will be one of the reasons why Bulls will be promoted this year - if he stays injury free.

That is a marmite shirt if I've ever seen one. Love or hate, no middle ground. Personally I can't stand it.

Negative feelings about the shirt cancelled out by McNally signing though. I think that is a very very good player for the level we're at, and it fills a position I felt we were lacking in.

Now a prop please.

Please send your paintings of the prop of your dreams (in home or away kit) to Vision On. Those judged to be the best in each age category (eg Bongser, fifty-one and a half) will be included in The Gallery (dooby-dooby-dooby- doooooooo, dooby-doooooooo, doo-biddy-dooby-doooooooo etc) just after Tony Hart does some unspeakable things to Phil (Rubber-Man) Ford (aka Morph) and there is footage of a mad scientist reputedly called Dr MK.

For those that are hard of hearing, there will be some nice person making up finger-jazz in the corner of the screen.

On the last point, if only "This is Your Right" had been still being fingered this time last season, Bulls fans would have far more relaxed. :thumb:
