Maybe Hitchcox might play right centre in place of the now departed JBF?

As for Laithwaite I can see him playing in the back row somewhere. Maybe he'll offer more than Milton and Minchella can play loose forward?

Would hope Johnson keeps his place.

Their positions don't need strengthening if we could put out our first choice team. However, we've picked up a few injuries and suspensions which will have an affect on our team over the next month.

However, the good thing is that these loans are to pad out the squad rather than needed to allow us to put out 17 players

Jy Hitchcox is a very good player,SL standard.Good to have in the team somewhere.He'll score plenty of tries,given the chance.

Both very good signings, really rate Laithwaite can't understand why he can't get in Toronto side

Good player or not, they have Andrew Dixon, Cory Paterson, Richard Whiting, Reni Maitua & Joe Westerman who are even better. Not to mention props playing at 13.

Can anyone explain to me why we are getting players on loan from Toronto instead of just using the dual reg system?
Why did we even bother becoming their dual reg partner if we're just going to get players on month loans instead?

I know it doesn't really make that much of a difference, but I still find it a bit weird.

I suspect it's some odd rule about dual reg with a foreign team. But I'm totally guessing, and if that was the case why would you even announce Dual Reg with them in the first place. But I think it's likely when they said dual reg, they meant "close relationship" instead.

Or it's dual reg and we keep loaning instead of using it. Odd.
