Just a query if anyone knows. Should we finish the season I'm 2nd place how do the play offs work?

I'm assuming 2nd play 5th at home with 3rd meeting 4th and the winners then play off for promotion. Thanks in advance.

Pretty much yeah. 2nd vs 5th and 3rd vs 4th. Winners of each play each other in the Final. Always at the ground of the team that finished highest in the table.

Just to let you know, if it comes to it I believe the playoff semi final would be on the weekend of 28th to 30th of September (I can't keep up with what Bradford decide is their preferred day for home fixtures!) and the final 5th to 7th October.

Obviously the answer to this is that we don't know the play off structure.

Indeed. When answering the question, I failed to take into account the total lunacy of changing the competition rules about a month before they're supposed to take effect.

The funny thing is, nobody is surprised anymore!
