Eh? Isn't it 2nd v 5th, 3rd v 4th, then a final play-off???

I think he means, we are now mathematically certain to finish second (unless York cock up) and Oldhams result doesn't effect our season. We'll either go up automatically if the structure changes tomorrow presumably, or we have a home play-off tie against the 5th placed side.

Rather presumptuous of beating 5th, then beating the winner of 3rd/4th - all capable of a big performance.

How did your last sudden death game go?

Where on earth has anyone mention beating the 5th placed side. Let alone going up, I think you will find given our results against Workington some are aprehensive about the situation.

Take your wakey trolling elsewhere. To add your chairman was on social media making a fool of himself last night fishing for bites about the bulls. Needs to carry himself with a bit more dignity

We lost at Warrington - is it relevant?

I don't know, I mean you yourself seemed quite confident of us being promoted on Wednesday morning when you posted: "...2019 RFL Championship is looking like it'll be a cracker of a competition, with London, Toulouse, Halifax, Bradford all gunning for the one spot..."

What has changed your mind since then?

No one said that... He literally meant THIS game is pointless as we can't finish anywhere other than second. We haven't mentioned the play-offs or how we'll fare in them. I genuinely can't understand why you're finding it so hard to understand. Or you're just trolling.

Because I believe you are favourites (albeit via play-offs), to go up and create an even more interesting race for SL next year. Of course, that is a given now the restructure is confirmed.

The comment was about the seemingly arrogant presumption that you would definitely be promoted...there's a difference between probability and certainty.

I'm not sure where you picked up on this "...arrogant presumption..." as there are many people (myself included) dreading having to go through playoffs what with our record in one-off games being so poor.

And you mention beholding an "arrogant presumption" on this thread whilst also presuming that we would go up as you consider us favourites too? Isn't that a little arrogant?

Besides we are not currently promoted. According to Aaron Bower "...there's now a meeting of Champs/L1 clubs taking place imminently to determine how their competitions are formatted under the new structure. Super League have no say in that - so it's up to them whether Championship goes to 14 etc. Should know more this PM..."
