That's incorrect.

He has the right of free speech - whether that free speech breaks any hate laws is another matter.

He has the right to hold his beliefs - if those beliefs are upsetting, annoying, offensive to others, it doesn't mean he should be gagged.

He has the right to lawfully voice his opinions and beliefs and we have the right to tell him he's how utterly wrong he is in those beliefs.

Such nonsense should be held up to scrutiny and challenged and debunked at every opportunity, not gagged and driven underground.

There's no such thing as free speech. That's why you can't call to lynch someone without being arrested.

If so called free speech induces fear of harm to an individual or group that's a criminal offence, being 'upset' emotionally by what a person says IS a negative feeling of wellbeing, yes each of us have differing tolerences and sensitivities but just allowing people to continually say things that are said only to done so for the purpose of annoying, upsetting and being offensive IS a breach of the peace.
we have seen oh so often how words said openly in public have being repeated not just by the first person to do so but by others and repeated again and again causing not just alarm and worry but genuine distress and others repeat it because they think they can do same without worry/fear of reprisal.

Free speech is fine but when purposely used to upset others it's not fine.

I would love him at Saints. End of the day, we have no morals, we have employed numerous drug cheats and people who bet on insider knowledge so why not a homophobe? All we would need then is a wife beater and we have had a full house
