I have to say, I have a huge respect for RL in PNG, so much so Im really hoping that they beat England tomorrow and we can see how far they can go.

Is that wrong? Am I being unpatriotic? Or are others the same?

Anything seems possible after today, but realistically, if PNG can lose by less than 20 it will be a great effort.

If this game was in Port Moseby then I think it could be alot different.

Bias aside, perhaps the best thing that could happen for international rugby league. Is that one of the so called lesser nations get to the final. Might make people look at a better international calender.

I can understand you wanting PNG to do well (as do I, they've come on massively) and see them develope but wanting them to beat your own country ?!

I didn't want PNG to beat England, but if they had, then I would have got fully behind them simply because where I live there is a large PNG contingent who I sometimes watch the NRL/SOO games with and they are absolutely nuts about RL.
