My predictions in bold

Hunslet Parkside v Workington
Bradford v West Wales
North Wales v Keighley
Coventry v Distington
Hemel v Newcastle
Doncaster v Myton
Pilkington Recs v Millom
Kells v British Army
Normanton v Batley Boys
Whitehaven v London Skolars
Askam v York City
Oldham v Featherstone Lions
Hunslet Hawks v Oulton

Some tasty ties there. It will be interesting to see how some of the better NCL sides get on against semi pro opposition. For the BBC tie I'd be going with Hunslet Parkside v Workington. Think that could be a really tough game between two sides who wouldn't normally play against each other. Doncaster v Myton likewise.

... and Distington, and Myton. Those are only my predictions though, not the results. Have you seen much League 1 and NCL? Maybe I've over-egged it with the upsets, but the standard of League 1 is poor IMO, and I can see some of these NCL teams treating it as their cup final. I recall the year before last quite a few NCL teams knocked out League 1 teams at this stage. I certainly fancy Hunslet Parkside to have a good crack at Workington, and would class Distington as favourites against Coventry as long as the lads are OK to travel.

Having been at the Myton game on Saturday, I think that Doncaster will have to much for them. But you never know.

As for the others, I think you could be right with Distington.
Hope there are a couple of shocks at it will give the NCL a boast. Plus the cup.

I also think your right about the difference between the NCL and certainly the bottom half of League 1.

Not sure it will be by 30. But your right, the league 1 clubs in the top half should win comfortably. It's the lower half of the table that there's not much difference between them and NCL clubs.

From the looks of it. It's been a disappointing rd. With some absolute hammerings for clubs (Doncaster beating Mytons 82-6).
Hopefully the next rd will have some closer/better games. Maybe a couple of shocks (obviously not for Rovers, we did our bit 2 years ago, don't need to do it again).

When is the draw for the next rd.

Myton didn't really deserve such a battering, although Donny did miss 6 kicks which would have made it worse. They had three players carried off (one looked very serious and he was treated on the pitch for about 10 minutes) so interchanges were limited and everything the Dons tried was sticking
