Fair play to HKR - they put on some nice moves and handled Shudds 2-3 decent players well; but my word, Shudds are awful.

And it was nice to see a return of the old chicken wing tackle - haven't seen that for ages; he'll be sitting out the next few weeks.

Good win for KR, who proved many of the pundits and bookies wrong.
As for Huddersfield, what can you say.

Pasted at home by a side, tipped by many, to finish at (or near) the bottom of the table.

Totally agree about the ageing half backs though.
Why on earth cant we produce any decent halves.

Perhaps, with the 10 metre rule for the defensive line, all of the junior sides just let "the fat lad" drive it in, so there is no need for the cunning and guile that was a prerequisite for playing 6 or 7 (or 9).

Every club should have young lads pushing the older guys but, there just doesnt seem to be any quality coming through in these positions.
