Shouldn’t you be more interested in the Catalans ground or maybe even one for Toronto?

I’ve got a job for Zak; he can sniff all those ridiculous lines off the Toronto “pitch” and make it start to look like a rugby league pitch rather than a laser light show at the Warehouse Project.

JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

Chalk another one off Ian...

Get him off to Toronto. The dealers there are suffering since the departure of the three amigos at the start of the year 8)

Drug dealing?

What’s D&D?

Maybe we should use the yanks abbreviation of DUI to prevent confusion ;)

Leeds Rhinos Ltd have not contributed anything to the stadium development as far as I'm aware.

You have no idea, The south Stand has been funded 100% by the Rhinos, while the new North Stand is jointly paid for by both the Cricket and the rugby, sharing the corporate suites etc. In fact the Rhinos share of the cost is £14 million. (be noted this is the cost to Leeds Rhinos not Leeds city council )

He did put the old "as far as I'm aware" on the end which usually means "I haven't got a clue".

Prize pillock - always has been, and always will be; and it makes a mockery of all the mental health nonsense that was trotted out to excuse his previous indiscretion.

The same Wigan that gave a slap on the wrist to a player for smacking his teammate round the head with a bottle? Yeh, they’ve got standards, them.

Would someone do that for no reason whatsoever?

That’s the thing though, he has been getting great support year upon year, mistake upon mistake, club after club, much much more then Joe Average would’ve gotten for the same behaviour. Arguably this could be why we see these constant failings because he knows people will still continue to give him chances because of his talent.

I'm not saying support so that he can continue to play RL. Not support as in "we'll stand by you and give you another chance". I mean support so he doesn't end up in prison or a grave. There's obviously a pattern of self destructive behaviour. As I say he shouldn't step on an RL field again in a professional capacity but that doesn't mean there's no underlying problem that doesn't need sorting. Nobody acts like this "just because".

Undoubtedly, some people who suffer from mental health issues have questionable judgement and behaviour that can be a manifestation of their mental state.

But I am firmly of the belief that some people are also just first rate A-holes. People who's number 1 priority is having a good time, regardless of the potential consequences or the impact they have on those around them.

Zaks interview in RLW stinks of someone who knows he's super talented, knows that's enough for him to stand out in SL and be a star and as such hasn't needed to apply himself. Whilst he made all the right quotes about now focussing on his career, ultimately.hes proven again that he takes his talent for granted and thinks he can behave however he wants, because he's a good rugby player and that will always be there as a living for him.

As such, I'm more than confident that Zak firmly sits in the A-hole category, potentially both, but using mental health as an excuse for his repeated bad behaviour does not wash with me.

He likes a drink, and is clearly a terrible drunk - behaves badly and make a terrible choices. That is not necessarily (and rarely) a mental health issue.
