You’re talking nonsense, none of those players were project players, they were all established and all expensive. I’m not sure who you’re trying to kid, yourself probably.

Sorry it’s not nonsense, have a look at the players NRL careers before signing

Cuthbertson is the only one who you could consider an established NRL player

True to an extent but he also went through 4 clubs in 4 seasons and whilst he made around 130 appearances, only 21 were starts with over 100 from the bench in 9 years so wasn’t exactly a strong NRL career.

Interestingly the likes of Horo, Arouna, Randell, Tupou made plenty more NRL appearances then the aforementioned Leeds players.

I was more talking of the previous signings the ones we made for this season were definitely of better pedigree

Merrin and Hurrell have been out best teo olayers this year

Tui has been a real disappointment theres no doubt

Printer seems to think this cohort are "project" players.

Merrin/Lolohea/Hurrell are without doubt "marquee" players.

Lolohea isn’t a marquee player simple as. As for pointing out his 71 games, a closer look would tell you he only played 23 games in the last 3 seasons as he didn’t cut it when given a run in the previous seasons and was shifted around all back positions and played as many of his NRL games in centre & wing as he did halfback. He became nothing more than a utility player.

You know what, I'm not gonna look that up, I'll take your word for it.

But if that is the case...who the love is doing Rhino's recruitment????

He was signed early in 2018 when the purse strings were still tight . Stadium work done and some big sponsorship deals done and suddenly the money has come out.

You don’t go from signing Lolohea a failed utility player playing reserve grade 10 months ago to offering £500k for Jake Connor and buying two marquee signings in the offseason if you’re finances haven’t suddenly taken an huge upturn.

Sinfield and GH but I think Tui signed before Sinfield was appointed.

He is not a Marquee signing

Yeah the funny thing since Sinfield’s appointment is that when he’s signed Hurrell and Merrin and now Seumanufagai is he was praised by Leeds fans for splashing the cash whereas GH wasn’t doing so. However Sinfield is only Director of Rugby, it’s not his money, he can only spend what those above him at the club (especially GH) let him spend.
