Probably still at St Helens quick

Thats the difference in professionalism. If Briers had made the sacrifices like Goulding and Long he would have enjoyed a long career with the Saints, but he chose beer.

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

I don't what words I could use to describe Popeye's laugh, but if I could I would be using them now.

We need to encourage more of our players to become Mormons. Look at the likes of Israel Folau, Krisnan Inu, and Sam Perrett. They have all become international players while abstaining from alcohol altogether for religious reasons.

Agree with the comments about Briers. The years of excess have caught up and his body is shot to pieces. Long has been no angel from what I have heard either, but better conditioning and supplements have prolonged his career.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

Should Wire be interested in him to replace Monaghan and Briers, or should we be setting our sights higher?

On his way to living a happy life.

Now were talking. : Tue May 19, 2009 7:24 pm
Wonder if Warrington are one of the two clubs chasing his signature, contract up at the end of next year and still will only be 27, fantastic replacement for Monaghan and Myler could learn a hell of a lot from him.
