I just dont think that this group of players have the mentality to win big games against big name opposition. Im very afraid that they will 'bottle' it against wigan as they do every time they play Saints, this time it will be the occassion rather than the opposition which will pysche them out.

A few weeks ago I was convinced that we would get to Wembley but in recent weeks we seem to have slipped back in to old habits.

A 40 odd point win over a poor Salford team just papers over the cracks for me.

Wigan are the favourites now panties, what a difference a few weeks makes. They are the horse galloping strogest coming into the home straight.

Recent results, form and performances over the last four weeks suggest Wigan will beat us in the semi final. Everything I have seen of Wigan recently has been nothing short of remarkable in the way they have dug deep and played for each other despite losing Hock, and they about to lose their coach regardless of what success he brings.

Taking away our two recent loses against Saints and Huddersfield, performance wise Wigan have still been the better side.

Last time we played Wigan we kept them to a single penalty goal in the second half.

That gives me some confidence.

Come the day of the match though would think I will be down to the knuckles by kick off.

total lack of composure in the first half, then some great rugby for the last 35 minutes, fifty points in a half takes some doing and it will have done us a lot of good. Keep the faith.

Wigan are playing well and we are not. I agree that they start as favourites - especially as there are very few 'big' games we win.
Remember last time - a couple of bad bounces of the ball and a couple of awful mistakes. You just can't do that in a semi and hope to get away with it.
