I like the Livett idea. We need to find a left edge second row with running ability.

If it's running ability we're lacking then....
Livett centre, Atkins backrow looks more natural even if its unlikely.

Do we think that we will see a repeat of big minutes from Akaoula this week or was Bradford a one off ?

40 mins a game is standard fare for a good prop forward. I know he has been nearer 20-30 minutes, but he is high impact which must take its toll energy wise. Pleasantly surprised to see him do big minutes on Saturday. Would anyone like to give a quick critique on his performance throughout the game. Did he fade at the end?

Currie is a runner. He is not a grafter. He sticks on left edge all the time. I'm thinking that we'd replace him with someone who could do a similar job. Atkins/Livett yes. Anyone else means bit of a change of role which they might not be suited to. Pretty good problems we have at the moment.

He put in a great shift although he undoubtedly lost a little impact with increased minutes, but, what was quite amusing was that he looked like he was on the naughty step in the second half when he got sent back on (and no I don't want to start a conspiracy 'he's fed up and wants to return to Aus' theory)

When Currie was out for 4 games earlier in the season Price played Murdoch-Masila at 2nd row and Westwood at loose for Hull and St Helens (both lost) then Westwood at SR / King at LF (BM-M from the bench) for the next two against Catalan and Wakefield (both won). My guess would be that he will stick with what he sees as a winning formula. Murdoch-Masila and Akauola coming off the bench has been very effective.

If Cooper passes his fitness test then final bench spot will be between Smith, Livett or Patton
