I very much doubt if our CEO will be having much of a laugh. Way, way back in darkest 2016 we entertained Widnes at the HJ and had an attendance of just over 15,000. I guess when you add in hospitality, beer sales etc etc we probably trousered £350,000. Meanwhile, Widnes with their very limited resources look financially vulnerable. It looks as though they are going down, and I don't see them coming back up sometime soon, if at all.

I would have much preferred if it was Saints or Wigan that had been beaten last night by London. Then we could all have had a good laugh.

I,m almost sure Warrington only managed to beat London Broncos by 1 point last season in the middle 8's, so there's not a lot of difference there.

Yeh but you only need to win by 1 point as you recently found out.

Whoah! But hang on there, not sure if you’ve heard, but Widnes won the World Club Challenge once. Not a fair comparison at all

Wouldn't know about that, we've never got that low to play in the middle 8's.

Where would you rather go to watch one of our away games? Widnes or Toronto? We need Widnes and their supporters,in greater numbers admittedly, to get out of the hole they have been digging and survive. If not I can see the club folding,and that would be able great shame

When Widnes started the season in good form a few years back, The HJ sold out for their visit. Yes, sold out!! We are lucky to scrape 11000 against saints or wigan these days.
