Speak to you thursday after next evening....though have a feeling you'll be taking yet another post-semi sabbatical.

The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

As stated a bit more of an average side....is it a massive chasm? Are we facing 90s Wigan or 2000s Bulls? No. Saints are rightful favourites but you know full well we're not out of it. We've got LOTS to improve on but 4th October we'll have em.

All we can say is that the Saints have the better chance of winning the semi final based on consistency of results, Saints are close to 90% on winning games, Wire just over 60% so things weigh in our favour.

At the end of the day the semi is going to be a one off game, our game with Catalans was different Cats were on top form Saints were dropping off. This semi in 2 weeks Saints are building up form again were Wire are falling to pieces and even some of your own fans realise they are a bit huff and puff at the moment.

Either way they created huge holes.

BMM and BT were very poor, both look unfit.

I just don't get the reckless angle. Surely a lot of the contact in RL could be classed as reckless? Prop charges the ball in from a drop out return? Reckless? Defenders going to get hurt if they fall into his path. Defenders after a kick off moving forward to smash the opposition and set the tone? Reckless? It'd open upball kinds of incidents as being bans. They'd be banning because of the injury rather than the intent. Absolutely nothing in it.

There have also been loads of similar incidents this season. Ryan Morgan has been knocked out this season as has Dom Peyroux by falling into defenders legs as they are tackled. Sean O'Loughlin did it in the last derby with Saints. They're just accidents.

Spot-on, we are in danger of our game becoming like football. It was an unfortunate accident.

You could say that about Lineham's challenge on Manfredi. If you connect with an opponents head in our sport, accidental or not, then expect to find yourself in trouble with the ref and disciplinary committee.
That's the way it is.

Couldn't agree more, and I was surprised that the bookies had us down as favourites for yesterday's game.
We were disrupted by losing both starting halfbacks in the first half. Having said that, Saints were the better side on the day.

One thing in our favour is that the pressure of expectation is all on Saints when we meet again.

I,m expecting the Wire to play much better, similar to our home game when we scraped a win. Getting the final super 8 game away with no injuries or suspensions for the semi final I reckon Saints will be slight favourites with the home advantage,

Not remotely similar, Lineham goes hunting for Manfredi and absolutely clobbers him. Lees goes to make a tackle and Roberts head is falling and makes contact with his knee.

As I’ve said on another thread Warrington are a very average side and ball in hand are completely clueless against any good defence. You must have been on our line for about 3/4 of that first half yesterday and for 10 minutes you had an extra man. Yet you could only come up with 6 points.

We were terrible against you at home with your fans saying how good you were yet we still beat you. I’m sure the semi final will be tougher but ultimately we look to be getting in form at the right time with Barba coming back to form and if that proves to be the case we’ll beat you. The only players who get close to our team are Cooper and Clark. Even then we have a hooker who’s better.
