Absolutely and whilst we are at it we should get Matty Russell back IMO

With a reduced number of interchanges and tiring defences that's exactly what he'd be doing to our down on their luck opponents......scooooott!!

Clark and Ratch are well watched by the opposition as they knew that anything off the cuff was going to come from them. I look forward to the new HB pairing as this should give us another focal point.

I am hoping 2019 will see us looking like we know what we are doing in the opposition 25m and have alternatives to the kick and hope final play.

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Interestingly as a team we scored the second most tries last season, if it was due to "kick and hope" it was a strangely successful tactic!

Successful in the way that we won lost both finals and could only score 1 try in the GF against a team that easily nullified the tactic. This is in no way a criticism of the achievements of 2018 but to got that one step further I'm sure we can agree that to have a creative half that will take on the line successfully can only improve us.

Imagine Russell Smith being inside the Wolfie costume all these years.
