I know first hand what Andrew John's team tours were like. Best he was left in the PC era.

There is no deception in what he is about to do.
Then look at pic 56 (Walker) you can't tell if he is going to pass straight from the floor to first receiver or pick it up and change direction to his right.
I love Clark but I feel like he has not developed the small intricacies of DH Play to make him a truly great DH. Roby has kept learning which has made a very good play a true great. I am not convinced Clark has learnt the extra tools which is disappointing when you consider the ex No 9's that have been on the coaching staff.

Bloody hell I can't believe you can tell that much from a photo.
I will send you my wedding photograph to see what's in store.

I might not have looked closely enough but I couldn't see Eribe Doro.

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Could it be that the important part of the practice was what happened after the picture was taken ie for the receiver or defender. Or, that you have over analysed 2 photographs to the extent that 2+2=57?
I thought he played very well last season.

Sorry yeah the few pics illustrated something that frustrates me. Apologies for the over analysis.

I agree with a post Rogues made a while ago that I think we miss Monaghan more than Briers.
I love DC but I don't think we utilise his talent and i dont think he has evolved his game. I think walker will be more like Monaghan in the way he plays.

Clark is a forward whilst Monas was a back. The difference is stark and thus a team structure has to be built according.
I'm happy with the forwardness of Clark as we have developed structures with ball handling backrowers like Livett and Currie. It cancels out the requirement of greater middle distribution stuctures that we had with Monas.

Taking some of the pressures off the haldbacks to create with good hands from the likes of Livett Currie and Ratchford would most likely give us more from the halves as some of the attention is removed from them.

I've noticed more often than not, that as a rule of thumb, Clark tells you what hes going to do with his feet. If his foot sticks out, he passes it off the floor in the direction of the foot. If he's stood behind the ruck and his feet are square he's off.

I think he does a great job and maybe we are being overly critical, but i'd like to see him tying the markers up before he hits 1st recievier, escpeially when we're getting up field and our forwards are running in behind the markers. Clark taking that little step out and forward before passing the ball on takes an enormous ammount of work off whoever is taking the ball in.

We should not read too much into the warm weather camp.
Look at some of these belters from 2017.
