True. Apparently the draw was delayed by the tragic fire at Notre Dame, which was considered more 'newsworthy' Good job it wasn't delayed by Brexit!!

No probs, Alan, you are welcome. Yes, there is suddenly a dearth of discussion, info or wild rumours on our forum.

Only got to watch the Leigh vs Barrow match last Friday. FWIW, agree with much of your assessment on the game (though it's always harder on TV). Would have given you a thumbs up but everything had gone very quiet. Sad.

Walkers, scratch 0 from the Easter Egg possibles, a little seen Ser Jorah safely negotiated a very tame first episode last night.

Bongser will, more in hope than expectation, follow VL's lead and jump in early with "all six episodes" - but a new avatar is waiting in the wings should the good Ser bite the dust.

PS. Charles, the fine bowler was indeed John Snow. This one, long thought of as (you know nuffin') JON Snow, has now been revealed as .....no more spoilers, in case there are any who do follow the saga.

Never seen it either, so again do not understand, although I am a Peter Lever fast bowling devotee rather than John Snow -being a true Lancashire legend - who can forget his unbeaten 89 against India at Old Trafford, only robbed of his only testcentury by running out of partners?

Well done BnB. I've not seen episode 1 yet. Me n er'in doors decided to watch the last 2 episodes of season 7 to refresh our old brains and yadda yadda we still haven't seen both of them (mum in law pop'ins are killing us this week)
Jon Snow does have a look of John Snow. Maybe the whole show will end with a game of cricket to decide the overall winners. A War of the Rose's type battle fought over 3 days, where only the main players fight and the rest of us drink beer in the sun.

The Krikket Wars already covered in Hitchhiker's Guide, VL.

BTW First Class County Cricket is now played over FOUR days so folk can drink more beer
