What time will the players turn up on Sunday? An hour later? You had my answer 2 weeks ago at post 2. Not 2 days. You've had 2 weeks to challenge that,I cant be bothered challenging you mate,as this is old news.

The highlighted question is the really valid one, in the midst of all this confusion! And, if they turn up for 5:30 pm, will they still be performing from about 6:25 pm to around 7:05 pm?

Good, so the club had a valid reason for switching the kick off, that was ratified by the RFL and the owner doesn't need to justify to anyone what he does in his spare time.

Jesus, so why have we changed the kick off time then? Surely a simple communication would not have gone a miss... Unless of course it is because the owner wishes to attend a soccer match. He is hardly going to tell the RFL that is he ?

The owner can do as he pleases, but I would air caution before moaning if the public prove to not fancy a Sunday Evening KO as much as him.

You've hit the jackpot Harold. :thumb:

That was my second point i made regarding staying in the pub and spending £20 on more beer, fodder etc, rather than at the match, especially the way we are playing atm.

Thats the problem as without it,leaves speculation in place. Its time to grow out of these adolescent games and start making a mark.

Didn't we once have a communications sub team looking to improve information to Supporters under young Mazey? I wonder what happened.

It appears no one can claim to know 100% as to why the game has been shifted back 2 and a half hours. Even people within the club are not officially letting on.

There is a reason, we are not being told isn't there?

Anyway My neighbour is not happy, He has a meal booked at 7pm for his wife's birthday so they will no longer be attending. A cold spell is expected from Sunday, so at my age I will need to play it by ear. Family orders.

If there was a reason for this change in kickoff time that seemed genuine then surely it would have been announced when the change was made. The absence of
this lacks transparency and leads to speculation and aggravation.
5.30 on a Sunday is possibly the worst time to play the game.

We did Harold. It actually started before that, under Trevor Barton. There were some excellent developments too - the radio 'station; LCTV; the programme; the start of social media for example. All these things have progressed since those early days and, with new ownership, the team has disbanded. We now have an excellent Communications Director, who communicates in a professional manner. I guess he can only communicate what is provided for him though.

The now kick off time is contentious, and will suit some and not others. The rest of your post is spot on.

Thanks Alan... And of course you are 100% correct in closing also.
