i agree with all here, its a shame the position we are in but the primary reason for this is poor contracts

Understand the players' point of view, however if we're comparing with typical employers, I'm sure a lot of companies would have you on at least a final written warning with an absence record like Evans' or Acton's

Yes they can. Not saying Leigh can, or should, given the nature of contract signed. But employers can discipline staff for poor attendance, and plenty do. So, while players are entitled to stick to their contract, I'm not going along with the argument of "How would you feel if your employer..." when it comes to Evans and Acton.

Sympathy does wear a little thin when one of the players, is currently missing from team selection after admitting at a recent RFL disciplinary deliberate use of an elbow on a fellow professional.

There’s a good chance that they aren’t absent from work like normal employees, they probably turn up for training or treatment as required by the club.

No idea if they have but Player’s contracts could/should have an appearance clause in them.

Tell me , what exactly are you trying to achieve by ' naming and shaming ' any particular player who most likely hasn't had a viable option to cancel his contract ?

Rhys has been injured , it's what happens when you play RL

I admit being constantly banned for poor discipline is a different matter , but injury isn't
