We will be reet. It is alleged most players have now agreed to deals and one or two others remaining have been given a deadline.
I would say we will be part time for a season under KP coaching stewardship , leaving potential scope to strengthen the playing rost in time for the SL promotion play offs.
When do 2019 STs go on sale is what I want to know?

Agreed to deals for this season or next Harold, you make it seem a lot more positive. Possibly why the likes of Peter Kaye has gone AWOL again

Yep, makes sense.
I too thinks Derek will stay. He has had a pop at Sl and can do again spending very little.
I have to say that I hope Derek doesn’t stay because,
1. I believe we need owners who will lets things be done the right way, with minimal interference, and make tough decisions based on the best thing for the club. 2. Be prepared to stay through good and bad. 3. I don’t believe that getting to SL is going to be any easier than it currently is (hence good and bad).
I think that 1 guaranteed promotion place will lead to an even more competitive Championship, with several teams willing to spend big to try get that spot. That to me does not mean a cheaper or easier track to SL. We will still have to be top 4 (or was it 5) and all the money spent this year didn’t make either of those things happen with Derek in charge. And then we will have to win a series of winner takes all playoff games. All those things don’t add up to the best thing for the club being Derek staying. No malice meant, just my personal opinion.

VL I agree 100% with your last paragraph, myself I admit I hope DB stays , but he must stop threatening to walk away if things art going right for him, obviously he has reduced the wage bill for this season , but next season money will have to spent to make us competitive in the League and then challenge for the Play offs.
At the moment no disrespect to the current playing squad, but we wouldn't be either, next season probably Widnes will be with us and joined by Toronto, Toulouse, London, again one of these will probably be in SL by then but the other 2 will come back more improved, along with Fax and Fev, chuck in Bradford and York, and it makes for a very strong hard Championship, meaning we would have to improve vastly on current playing squad.
I'm sure Derek will realise this as well, hopefully the Sponsors and fans will stick by the Club and then we can make a fist of our chance to compete. As I said I do hope DB stays, but we will still have to spend money, hopefully he won't give out crazy 2 year contracts, and maybe less overseas players than this season.
The consensus seems to be that each subsequent year from 2014-2017 was an improvement on the last and one poor decision, retaining a coach out of his depth for the higher level of SL ultimately caused the current situation. So with that now history, a very good coach in place, DB over his fear of sacking people, costs massively cut resulting in a competitive team on the field still. The strategy would be to replicate 2016 with the wisdom of past events.
A good Championship 7 is up for grabs at Catalans who has and can do a job again. Snag Ridyard, end the frivolous spending and Leigh could be heading for SL 2019 with a very savvy business plan.

Or we could be in liquidation by October.
I presume you mean SL 2020 rather than 2019, but even that is extremely optimistic.

I understand all our fans who are disappointed and feel let down by DB however, he too has been badly let down !! I believe in the old adage, 'Lessons Learned' and I'm sure DB will have benefitted from his recent experiences as Owner of Leigh RLC and hopefully, the club will benefit in the long term? New Owners may not be Leigh fans and its being a Leigh fan that sets DB apart from many previous owners! That's why I believe he is still the best man for the job

I too would love to see Riddy back at Leigh possibly as assistant player coach, now that there should be no obstacles in the way of him coming back. But hasn’t he re-signed for Fev. next season?
