Proper foundations, is in the hands of the RFL. Parachute payments should be hit on the head and the money invested in reserves and youth. Protecting clubs short term as with Leigh isn't an answer.

The RFL has the power to create those pathways, but chooses to ignore them. The game requires restructuring from the bottom up,not top down, and all need to be on the same page.

Building bridges with the community clubs, building up the player strength of the youth so they can make the step up to first team, making the club more substainable as a business, making the club more fan friendly, selling the club a lot more than it does be that on social media or advertising in the town,I know this doesn't happen overnight and I know at the end of the day fans want to watch a winning team but we had this and then threw it all away signing players that wasn't up to the challenge the league table doesn't lie

Good for him.

However, there's no way I can see him changing his ways. His last two suspensions last season, were the result of late, dangerous, carbon copy challenges. Suspended for seven matches for an off-the-ball incident, he then returns, to do it again, second match back! Much as I wish he would change, those incidents convinced me there is a flaw there.

He's a liability, will already miss 1st 4 games of the season - no doubt many more to come, however beggars can't be choosers

I'll agree with the ' fan friendly ' bit , much more has been needed for decades , however it isn't via better links with the amateur clubs , many of the coaches at them have their own agenda's and idea's on who they want to have ' links ' with

The club should work more with the schools to get more kids interested in RL , be that playing or watching
