Probably because people haven't got home yet. However I'm here and i thought it was a creditable effort, especially in defense. The game never got beyond average but a win is a win and two points, Its difficult to look good in attack against a side that play offside to that extent, but credit to Fartown they took their chances.
Warrington will get a lot better i think as the season goes on, but hopefully Fartown will as well, Well done for grinding a win.

For me a very average display. The good thing was that Warrington were absolutely terrible. Giants had lots of bounce of ball go their way.

I thought Fergie, Rankin, Brough were the standouts. No one was very poor. For Warrington Ratchford was head and shoulders better than the rest

An unexpected result but now they need to build on it.

Warrington’s new coach seems to have the same old Australian coaching style of bore the crowd to death with safe Rugby and completing sets.

Rankin was very good. Broughs kicking kept us in it in that middle none scoring section-because we couldn’t get near their line- but neither could wire get near ours- there was a portion of time you could see he was getting frustrated and he gave leeming a right mouthful at one point. Hinchcliffe was again his dependable self and made some crucial tackles. Clough put in a massive stint.
Not sure what the on report was for but cooper and hill were going for Mamo at every opportunity.
We will have to play better- but the conditions were awful.

A better performance tonight although lucky that Lineham knocked on with the line at his mercy when Darnell Mackintosh was out of position again in the first half, their try was a walk in down the right again from a kick carbon copy of the Hull one.

However the pack stood up tonight and we played the conditions well and the defence stayed organised so we deserved to win.

Some strange stuff from Thaler but how Chris Hill was not sent off or at least to the bin for punching was a strange one. He should have binned one for a professional foul when they held on to stop us playing the ball a yard from the line and he gave the penalty so no excuse for him there.

But credit where credit due this weeks verdict that’s better...

Oh unbeliever I always give credit when due but last week we didn’t deserve it this week we did...

I don't disagree...I'm just saying the rush to condemn is far greater than that to applaud. That's sad.

And untrue.....
There were only 4 posts on the “hull game thoughts” thread made on the night of the game. And one of those was from a Leigh supporter.....

And funnily enough nothing about the game.
