Great news. Great young players. Although played for Ireland in last WC, should be targeting an England jersey at the next world cup.

He already had this year and next year left didn’t he- so really it’s a three year deal.

long deals are great when it's the right players.

Although you personally for whatever reason might not see it, there is a huge difference between giving someone like Ollie, Seb, Jerry and Leroy (when they got theirs) long deals and someone like Smith and Gaskell.

no problem with the 5yr deal from me... just know some dont like it.

lets hope he continues his improvement further!

gaskell so far has proved he was worth the contract he was given, played many games when some said he wont play any!! quality player to have in the ranks who can play lots of positions
