I could have got a team of mates together and beaten hull kr tonight.

Can’t even beat a team that bad

38-6 at your place and WERE the team that bad how about a bit of credit for dominating you for 80 mins

But you didn't dominate us for 80 minutes, and that's the most galling aspect of the loss. We spent a lot more time in your 20 than you did in ours, and just like against Saints and Wakefield utterly failed to score any points at all from the vast amount of possession we had there. Before you go thinking your defence is the best on the planet, this has happened to us in virtually every game we have played this year. The only time we score points is when the opposition fail to deal with a kick or drop the ball cold and we scamper over.

What was impressive was your attack, you showed us EXACTLY how to move the ball and create chances, something our coaching staff/playing personal have absolutely no clue how to do and i applaud you for that.

The issue is there is simply no quality in any of the pivotal positions and a complete lack of basic skills from the halves and full back. Added to that the left side defence was woeful.
You can put in as much effort as you want but you won't win games without quality. Added to this no one backs up the runner and today the first runners were making plenty of ground. I really felt sorry for the forwards. Taai, Ikahifho, Hinchcliffe, Clough, Roberts and Ferguson all played really well.

Absolutely in regards to the forwards, they have been a match/more than a match for virtually every team we have played laying a great platform. What happens afterwards is a shambolic keystone cops style charade in the oppositions 20. The coaching staff however are so happy with this exciting brand of attacking flair that they have subscribed to it for another year with the resigning of Brough!

Not sour grapes you dominated nothing. You are very average at best. See you back at Hudds for the middle eights

Sorry it’s just embarrassing to lose to such a poor team . You know how bad you are. You see you every week.

They are making yards- but there’s not a decent offload amongst them.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Re: Hull KR next up : Thu Mar 15, 2018 10:24 pm
It might sound daft, but as a neutral watching the game, Huddersfield were probably slightly the more dominant team even though they were comprehensively outscored. The difference was that you were absolutely clueless in the final 20m again and lazy in defence when in the opposition half too. I think Stone has run his course at your club now and without change, you will really struggle for the rest of the season.

Having watched Wakefield play against both Huddersfield and Hull KR, it was certainly Huddersfield who offered the biggest challenge. KR never looked like a threat and Wakefield didn't need to get out of first gear to pull them apart, but Huddersfield really made them work hard for the win even though you struggled to make headway in our 20m

For the most part true, although Ikahihifo showed exactly how to do it in the last 10 minutes when the game was well and truly lost. It seems that everyone can see our utter lack of competence in attack apart from our own coaching staff. Jon Wells "Theres only Plan A", Phil Clarke "perhaps they would be better off attacking from their own half". Every game we have to endure a period of at least 4 consecutive sets in the opposition 20 that gets progressively more dire/clueless/panicked, until we inevitably cough up possession. At times i think we drop the ball or give a suicide ball on purpose to avoid the embarrassment of going longer in that area without scoring any points!
