I think Trinity and Catalans will win one each and Leeds all 3...which means we need 2 wins which given we have Wigan and Cas will be tough...Wakefield will be tough but if still in the hunt would hope we would win. Also Hull KR still in with a shout.

9th place looks like our most likely finishing spot, we can only count on the Wakey game to have a good chance of winning and it might be too late by that time. If we can get a win in either of the other two games it will change the whole outlook.

Catalan have a run in similar to ours but they have that 1 point on us, I fear we might have blown our chances at HKR but we are not gone yet. If we do finish in the middle 8 there will be some tough games without doubt.

That points difference is as good as a win for every other club in the chase.

I think we’ll be ninth. The Hull KR match holed us below the water.

It’s a real shame. Eighth effectively gives you a six month off-season. You can plan for next season, put players carrying injuries into treatment, play some youngsters, experiment with different combinations.

Ninth puts the future of the club at risk by sucking you into the maelstrom.

Should have sacked Stone much, much earlier. Still, nothing to do now but keep fighting.

Hull KR can overtake Huddersfield by winning 2 more games than the Giants. Hull KR can overtake Leeds by winning 1 more game than the Rhinos.

Rovers are not out of it yet. Unlikely I'd agree but not out of it despite not being mentioned in this thread.

Loss to KR a real blow to our top 8 hopes BUT keeping the faith. Big home games to come and still in with a chance. Only Catalans in good form so why not us to get ahead of Wakey and keep Leeds below us. Only downer is the points difference meaning nothing but wins will do now realistically but stranger things have happened. Toughest run in for us so cannot be any complacency which may work to inspire the team. 3 cup finals effectively.

you pretty much need 10 wins to make the top 8.

said it all alongm left ourselves too much to do with a poor start, this season has been a mirror image of last season with upturn in form midway through the season, may just scrape the top 8 but need two more wins.

Certainly they are no better than Wigan, But it is at Cas and that's not easy for any side.
