We haven’t anyway- but moving our best second row across to the opposite centre, and away from his brother, weakens us more IMO.
I’d rather have wardle and mellor as our second rows, and Lawrence for his defence at loose than Murphy. If all were playing 80 minutes Murphy wouldn’t play for me- much as he will give everything he’s behind the rest in terms of who best suits what we have.

How is Murphy our best second row? He is utterly blunt in attack, i would love to see his yardage and carries stats. Yes sure, he is great in defence and gives his all, but we already have lawrence for that. Playing Murphy in the centres would see no attacking down that side whatsoever, although i do agree that out centre options are pretty awful at the moment. I'd rather see Mellor in the centres than Murphy at any rate.

I didn’t say he was our best second row! I said the opposite of that!
My proposal was I’d play him at centre as that weakens us less in other areas of the park- Our second row stays strong and only the centre position is weakened It won’t be weakened defensively only in attack - and tbh if Jerry gets the ball it’s usually from a kick or cut out pass anyway!

Could Uate line up at centre this week? I see no reason why we'd include both Seniors in the 19 man squad if neither are playing.

Pray to god we don't have Hewitt and Russell down the same side. Recipe for disaster straight away.
