It's being reported the the Championship and Championship 1 teams are meeting today. One item on the agenda is reported to be turning C1 amateur. It is not know what support this proposal has.

Could have some major ramifications for Southern RL. It's difficult to see much of a player pathway existing down south if this happens

A club chairman is quoted as saying there has been no detailed discussion on the subject today as no formal proposal has been received.
