I think Dennis Moran and Jimmy Dymock made their debuts at Crawley?

The first time we played in Perpignan was at different stadium to where Catalans play, I can not remember the name of it but I can still remember the banquet they provided afterwards and the wine tour the next day.

Yes, I was there. A grey and damp day.

It was a Challenge Cup game versus Batley.

I've seen the Broncos at Brentford, Charlton, The Stoop, Crawley Town FC and Kingstonian.
Oh and Wembley too!

Don't think I've missed any.
I never did quite get to Hendon on those wet winter Sundays when we were London Crusaders.

The Dragons started playing at the RU's club's ground ( Admiral Giral?) while Brutus was being upgraded, so it may have been there. There was also the 'on the road' match in Carcassone mentioned by another poster above when your boys beat the Wire: notable debutant for us that day was Ben Westwood.

[quote="brian2"]yes, we playeda couple of early season Challenge
I went to the CC Game at Kingstonian

You won against us ( Salford) My Lasting memory is Martin Offiah nearly breaking his legs after scoring for you Due to the Barrier being less than 5 feet away from the In goal area. I'm Certain You only played there Once.

We played at Kingstonian twice.
I've certainly seen the Broncos there twice. Cup games I'm sure.
Salford and Wath Brow Hornets.

Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

What a great weekend in Carcassonne that was. Only bettered perhaps by Les Chevaux dangereux de Londres V Leeds Rhinos as the Perpignan club advertised it. The year of the Leeds Elvis look alike fans. Haven't seen French Gendarmes as perplexed since.
We can add the HAC to the list & of course Wealdstone FC where we played quite a lot of games. I'm beginning to think it might be easier to list where we haven't called home!

I have a feeling that at some stage between 1980 & 1984, due to a bad winter with many games postponed, we played 1 or 2 home games in the north to save the team coming down. Widnes would be logical because of Reggie or maybe Swinton. There was also a Lancashire Cup game V Warrington held at Wigan but don't remember the circumstances around that.

The Widnes games were season 82/83, against Swinton and Huddersfield on 12th. and 14th. April, we also played our last game of the season against Cardiff on Cup Final eve at Stamford Bridge. The problem was the appalling state of the pitch at Craven Cottage which turned out to be due to the drain carrying the water off the pitch into the river having collapsed. In 84/85 we played three games at Wealdstone F.C.'s old ground - seen RL played in some interesting places in my time!
