He needs to show some respect. I think he’s good enough but he’s been stealing the money he’s been getting paid for the last 18 months and can now go with a topped up bank account.

fair enough, hands held high, i can see how people might be confused with what i put on here especially considering the apparent turnaround of feelings of late. but i will say that is largely due to the likes of the deals for Greenwood, Hankinson, the lad from Barrow and the two coaches, getting rid of Joel and potentially TT - there's genuine reason behind my change in certain feelings, i'm not just realising i was wrong before you think you can take the win ! the club looks to be handling things well and things look to be looking well, so i'm more appeased.

but i will not ever stand for someone just generally having a go at every thing i say because they have the upper hand either technically or due to superior knowledge on a subject (or think they have!)- its a form of bullying and i am very passionate about that as one of my children experienced it a lot when they were younger and in an adult, well we all know what an adult can do when he feels down.

if this forum had less of that and more discussion rather than coming across as simply a place to be corrected all the time it would be a better place.

Seconded. He was quick to sign the marquee player contract. If he wants to go then let him go, but please don’t include a get out of jail card if it doesn’t work. You make your bed....lie in it.
Sort it out now and let’s use any transfer money to sign a “quality” half back.

George Williams has come out and said he wants a move to the NRL for 2019.

I would have liked to have kept him at the club and see him develop under Lam and Edwards but for me now I’d be saying goodbye. He’s given us two years of bang average form whilst sitting on a wedge and security of a marquee contract and to turn round and say this is nothing shy of disrespectful.

, He can go for me too, from the sounds of things he's been given ideas from Tomkins, bin him off for the rest off the season, send him to Dewsbury then get a nice big fat fee for him and in the meantime we could bring in Lammy jr

I can only imagine the reaction of the NRL commentators watching Williams run round in circles like a headless chicken. He doesn't have a long kicking game and has no real passing game. I dont particularly enjoy watching him play - I prefer halfbacks to have some sense of direction in their play.

Andrew Johns and the NRL commentators that watched him in the WCC win against Cronulla last year quite liked his performance that day.

I'm not going to get all worked up over the GW situation - This time last year it was all signed sealed and delivered that he was going to the Wolfs according to the Message Board experts.

What I will say is, There is no other British Half back that I would want to see at Wigan over the next 3 years than George Williams.
On that front I would be gutted if he left.

then again if the coaches don't fancy him or the Paymasters think they can get better value elsewhere then so be it.

Potentially 2 marquee spots available for 2019. Let's hope Rads and IL are going all out to strengthen our squad using these spots.
