Fans of other clubs seem to detest certain players like Sam, but Hardaker has messed up time and time again off field and people just seem to forget it.

A) I can't be bothered with have to just read pages of people whining about him being picked. and B) He's not had a proper preseason at Wigan since 2012-2013, I'd rather him get a full preseason in, and try and build up some of that pace again.
Silly boy - thought he had left all that behind him. As for Sam getting the England full back role if he is the best player available (not including Hardaker of course) then he should be in the team but some might say Jamie Shaul is playing better and deserves to be selected. Still room for Sam though in the squad.

Agree, but I suspect that he'll be in the travelling squad whether or not Hardaker is included. Think his form warrants him being ahead of Shaul/Lomax et al.
