Good news.

Isa Just gets the job done, no thrills, no excuses, just hard work, hard running and hard tackling.

Unlike some other players I doubt he’s the type to now take a rest as the ink dries on his new deal.

A family friend works at Widnes. He was "gutted" when Isa left. He said "You're not only getting a very good player but a top man, and the best I've ever seen working in the community, particularly with youngsters"

Raslinski has said today he’s the best community man they’ve had in twenty years. Things like that can be undervalued because it’s hard to quantify. His forms been excellent and I think he’s improved greatly in his time here.

His wild celebrations in front of the Western Terrace on Friday after the game only made me like him more :D

Let's just hope he bucks the recent trend of 'sign a new deal = form goes out of the window'.

It is easy to ignore the contribution of Isa because he is a no frills professional. He is not going to make many 50m breaks but what he does has earned him everyone's respect. Compare that to our initial doubt when he signed. Perhaps , sometimes, the club does know a bit more than we do. Personally, I find that my life is made immeasurably easier when my colleagues do what they are meant to do well, no matter what their rank of pay cheque.

I was frustrated with Isa at the start of the year but he’s really turned his form around. As others have said, a real grafter and top bloke. Hope he can pick up some more silverware!

Played well of late, hopefully not playing for a deal and now drops off. Hard worker, ever present (pretty much) and importantly can cover a range of positions. I honestly think Isa could cover centre, and anywhere in the pack if need be, good attribute to have in a salary capped sport. Once someone I saw as good cover, now seems to be a 1-13 player.

Most idiotic post ever goes to Grimmy..... The way to restart should be an arm wrestle between a designated player from each side.

Pleased with this, players like Isa are very useful given the salary cap. He consistently gets the job done.
