It is a nice problem to have but it will eventually have to be resolved.

Can’t see us being in a position to keep 4 quality wingers happy if we ever get them all fit at the same time.

In my opinion Manfreddi is the best of the bunch all things being equal and he recovers fully from his injury.

Pre NRL Burgess follows post NRL for me he becomes the most expendable.

Davies is now in my opinion second best behind a fully fit Manfreddi with Marshall providing cover.

Think it will come to a head at the end of next year where I fully expect 1, probably Burgess to leave.

In a salary capped sport it makes no sense to have 4 frontline wingers even if we can keep them all happy.

Wane has spoken about Manfredi challenging for a spot on the team in the wing or at centre. He said he’s played the position previously and has good skills. It’s a spot I’d be happy to have a look at him in. It’s in the article about Gildart being back soon on the Wigan today site. Wane also says Gildart will probably come back in on the right side due to Sarginsons form on the left.

I think it all depends how strongly both Manfredi and Burgess look on their return. Form me, if they find fitness they're our starting wings with Davies to cover.

I'd be having a long sit down with Burgess, find out for sure where he sees his future, he's made no secret of his wishes to play in the NRL again so it would be daft to let one of the other three to go and then 5 mins later Burgess buggers off to the NRL.

I honestly thought Burgess was improving before his injury. Finding fitness and form.

burgess and manfredi for me....providing burgess can get his oace back which he seems to have lost same for manfredi really

Catalans started like a house on fire. They had several chances in the first 5 minutes but then seemed to lose interest when we stood up to them. They spent the rest of the game working at 80% with little attacking threat. Wigan played well and were allowed enough room and time to throw the ball around. That did not always go well. Escape had a fine game on the wing when Liam went off injured. I hope it was not as bad as it looked but when you suddenly collapse without contact it is usually is not good. Sam bossed the game but Williams looked like a weight has gone off his shoulders. The forwards generally dominated with Greenwood looking in fine form. Partington had a second good game in a row. Sarginson was given enough space to look a class act.

Marsall injured. Just running across the defensive line, no contact, all of a sudden he went down with a look of agony on his face. He was helped/carried off the field looking in real pain. Possible hamstring or ACL.
