If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.

You are right he did under Wane miss very few games and that is why he should never be considered for captain because despite being virtually ever present, I can't recall him stepping up to the plate leadership-wise once when the team looked rudderless.

Rudderless, all the way to the GF...

Merry Xmas DaveO, you got your best present ever *Wane out*

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

Well it looks as though we know who mr. negative DaveO's 1st 2019 scapegoat is. Wasn't it strange, his lack of praise / positivity towards the end of the season?

Powell led us all the way to the GF? Who knew! If you care to look back over my posts you will see I have never rated Powell and I am not the only one. He's got little pace and his passing for a half back or dummy half is poor. His defence is good but he offers little threat on attack. You are the one suggesting an average player be made captain, not me.

I would be interested to know how well we did when SOL was on the field as against when he was on the touchline. It always seemed that we leaked points when somebody else was leading the team.
