does anybody actually think that Shaun Edwards wont be Wigan coach next year??? it is absolutely ridiculous to post anything else other than this. because there's nothing going on where going to just make a load of tripe up about nothing. some of the opinions on here are embarrassing. I am gonna put it out there now and tell you for certain. Shaun Edwards will with out any doubt be coach of Wigan in 2020.
Of course he will some people nothing better to do than scare monger lol
Its not scare mongering its preparing for every scenario. I like to prepare myself for the worst and IMO the whole Lam/Edwards thing is the strangest set up ive ever seen at a pro SL club. Whats going to happen to Lam if at the end of next year he has no head coach job offer? Are we really going to just ditch him after essentially just using him for a year? What if Lam wins the treble and we smash every team that stands in our way whilst playing some of the greatest RL ever seen and Lam expresses a desire to stay on as head coach?

If we lose first 2 games you lot on here will go into meltdown and want Lam hanging from nearest lampost. Stop being loving negative about everything. Try being positive i might just catch on you know. Shaun Edwards will be head coach in 2020 no matter what Lam does this/next year. And Wigan as a club will be in a far better place when giz is back. And as for strangest set up at a super league club, do you not remember having that nice person from St Helens in 2005. Now that my friend was strange, but we moved forward in a possitive manor because were the greatest club in the world and its important to always remember that.

Have you also dug an underground bunker in case there's a meteorite strike, and learned to build igloos in the event of global cooling?
This is total nonsense and you know it. The Lam situation was fully explained, both by the chairman and Adrian Lam himself, at the time of the announcement.
Simply pretending that didn't happen and posing the question again as if it's something new won't cut it.
Unless, of course, you're a wind-up merchant. Which is the only viable explanation I can think of.

Youve failed to answer my perfectly valid question. What if Lam makes us world beaters and we destroy every team put in front of us and he expresses a desire to stay as head coach? The whole thing does not add up with or without the official explanation. The only way it makes sense is if they are writing next year off and certain that Lam will at very best deliver a just about acceptable transition season and we wave him goodbye with a thanks at the end of it.
BTW, i would love an underground bunker. If i was a multi millionaire, id have one built.

I dont think that will happen. Most people seem to accept that next year is just a gamble/waiting game kind of year and unless we end up fighting a relegation battle i think people will be more patient to wait for what is being billed as the big prize in Edwards. Im actually opposite, i think Lam could surprise people and turn us into a lethal attacking machine. Im actually more concerned about Edwards ability than Lam simply because Edwards has been out of the game for so long. No matter how good he has been in RU, RU is simply not RL and the game has changed so much.

Tough. The contracts kick in. Where's the big mystery?
