He did 80 mins playing like a prop really impressed by him. Never shied away for a carry. Also hats off to Dupree chasing back in that first Cas try. A really impressed with Mago. We started first half flat and Cas played well but we got the job done in the end. I didnt feel the pressure from Cas would amount too. Think we’re still building to our best be a good test next week

Any word on Kieghran? An Thompson looked to have a lot of strapping on one arm.

Keighran fine according to MP, was just a bang but decided to give Eckersley more minutes seeing he was there, said AK would've played on if we'd had four forwards on the bench

Suspect he'll get done for a hip drop but I might be wrong.

He dropped his full weight with no control while holding onto the Cas players shoulders, I'm not sure it's a text book hip drop because he doesn't land on the players legs but I'm pretty sure it'll be looked at and could be viewed as a reckless action resulting in an injury.

With the current rules we are starting to look to categorise fair tackles as dangerous. I am willing to be that every game this weekend had tackles that were similar. Had the lad got up and played the ball nothing would have been said.

I haven't seen it on TV yet but it looked ok at the match. He's fully in control at the point of tackle with both feet on the ground but gets pulled over by the Cas player. Iirc he goes to ground front first so isn't putting his weight through the tackled player as he would with a hip drop or similar.

As I say, that's just the impression from the game so it may look different on TV but I didn't get that impression from the actual tackle which happened pretty much in front of us.

There was a video knocking around twitter but it's been deleted, there's a point in the tackle where he's swung around with both feet off the floor, he'll be very lucky to escape a ban.

Only an F?

I’d have thought they’d be pushing for a Z.

But that is not a hip drop tackle.

I my original post I said I didn't think it was a text book hip drop.

The RFL will want to be seen as consistent, if you leave your feet in the tackle and apply your full weight to a player in a way that could be deemed reckless and they get injured, you're going to get pinged for it.
The mitigation in Nsemba case is that be doesn't land on the lads legs so it's not a "hip drop".
