I'll add to this list with a bit of an odd one, I absolutely loved our cup game at Dewsbury. I really enjoy going over to our near neighbours for a few different reasons, but every single member of staff there are incredibly friendly, and the Dewsbury fans are a superb and passionate group. It was also a pleasure to see how hard they worked for each other against an obviously much better team, they fought for the full 80 minutes.

I’ll be watching them most weekends next season, but like you say Banjo, what I’ve witnessed so far I agree with the fans and team work rate, but I’m going to go with a split decision and say nilling big gobs Wigan and an all round superb display against Whinos at home.

When i was a bit younger and a bit more reckless with money, I had season tickets for Wakefield, Dewsbury, and Featherstone. It meant that I could pretty much guarantee a game each weekend, and often 2 games. Dewsbury is by far my favourite championship club and I've generally gone to their boxing day clash instead of the Wakefield one. Enjoy your time watching them, I suspect under Kelly they will have a good year

I know it's going to sound strange but my best memory this year is the Sts game.
Ok we lost under terrible circumstances but all week I was excited for the game, there was a crackle in the air at the game, the rugby we played was entertaining and exciting and it felt like we were playing in the big time.
The game mattered and we were the better team fully deserving of a top 4 place but for one moment of concentration lapse by the team.
I look forward to more games that make me feel like that.....with hopefully a better result.

We win as a team and lose as a team.
Simple as that.

Agreed, the team as a whole were probably too negative on the night. Shallow kicks into touch etc. We saw against Leeds and Wigan that we can be ruthless and tbh we had enough of the game to be further ahead of Saints.

That said, in the end sadly it did come down to an individual error/lapse of concentration.

It was a good game and as you say the build up was great, been a long time since we were in such an important game at that end of the table and I think it gave everyone a real buzz. Shame how it ended but hopefully the sort of game we will be in again come 2018 and the experience should serve us well.
