Keinhorst is ooc at Leeds this year so couldn't really be offered as a makeweight anyway.

And we also have an abundance of centres and second rowers, so wouldnt require him anyway. If a player was offered you would expect it to be a winger

Hi Horbury,

Just thought I'd drop you a PM, because your effort to spread an unfounded rumour is all over the place. You've got a good balance of detail and vagueness, but in the wrong places. You really need to plan them better.

Firstly, Leeds was a good call, particularly as you threw in a former Trinity servant. Hall is getting older and Briscoe a bit hit and miss. But Wigan? You started to lose it here. They've too many good wingers.

Secondly, too much detail in the figures. This is where you keep it vague. Keep it simple. "Heard Leeds and Wigan are showing an interest". At some point, they might have done, and it keeps it sufficiently simple to be credible. But you went in with hard facts and figures. Easy to refute.

Thirdly, you went vague where you should hit it big. "Chinese whispers but come from someone I know has club connections". That simply leads it open to attack. You're admitting that its potentially nonsense, and "has club connections"? That could include anyone with even a passing interest, like those who went to see the pre-match stripper at the Talk of the Town back at the end of the eighties. Too vague. No, go in hard, with "a very reliable source within the club". That's how you do it.

Hope this helps.

We are in PM's, right.....?
Above I've just selected two sentences of your non moral high ground taking condescending posts, hope you don't mind :D

No moral high ground seeking here, just pointing out that 6 posts is a bit excessive just to make a point to a rumour put on here about a transfer, you seriously need to drop the attitude and perhaps seek out some sort of anger management course, unless you do the unthinkable and ignore all those who post on here with just the intention of upsetting you, just a thought.
Not at all, I was taking the moral high ground, I'm not denying it, you are and that's the point. :thumb:

You seem confused, all I am guilty of is pointing out that once again you have gone over the top highlighting your displeasure at a post you disagree with.

Oh and fwiw if there had been any substance in this rumour, they'd probably gone for TJ over Eden on the basis that he's a better winger, imo of course

I would say, rather than selling players, it's going to be much harder keeping them all happy.
I believe we have a winger who is in the last year of his contract and would have thought that this is the player that clubs maybe looking at?

Not so long ago I might have given credence to such an enquiry being made and perhaps unsettling a player, who might see prospects of silverware much better elsewhere.
Although we are not yet an odds on bet for such success, we are a darned sight nearer than we have been for years, so much so, that the likes of TJ, and other hot prospects may consider they have as good a chance of success here as elsewhere.

What's the betting that Nosey Parker in League Weekly will be reporting this item as "fact" in the next week or two? I'm convinced all his "scoops" come about in this way
