We said that at the time.

I actually have no problem the way we played what else could we have done - it was a nothing game really and we had 17 fit players to choose from - half of which were not up to a top 4 team standard. We had fun happy days

again's thought it proved if we are to be competing next season for a semi spot we need a halfback that can coffer more than hampsire and miller,i am happy with them both staying and on though and on our budget its all we can probably do but we are dreaming if they can take us higher in comp.

But next season we just have to be a top 5 team to make the playoffs. Now where did we finish last season and where are we currently with one game left to go?

Not much to say about that one - busted up and trying some crazy plays, with early injuries putting us even more out of shape; Cas were always gonna cruise home.

Watching them in motion though reiterates what I said earlier - when they're running, the passes are quick, crisp and accurate - so they get it to the edges really smoothly and that causes problems; by contrast, we try it, and someone drops it, is out of position, or the pass is crap. They just execute way better than we do - fact.

There is playing expansive and then there is playing stupid, what Grix did from the kickoff was just plain ridiculous for me followed by short kick offs etc. If they had played the basics and earned the right to try these things when they were suitable then we might of just given them a game but gifting them possession the way we did just killed us and left me feeling like I made a mistake by actually attending.

Hopefully Wire will rest a good few next week and we can beat them to retain the 5th spot.

Think the Grix play in the opening set was a planned move, that was just poorly executed.

I think if the kick had more on it, BJB would have won the foot race, and would probably have scored.

There fullback is no slouch and he was dropped back on the 40 yard line, do you really think he would have made that ground up? It just wasn't on no matter how the kick was executed, if it was a planned play then we should have pulled out the minute we saw the position of there FB.

Something tells me they will win the GF this year, they have gone under the radar a little and Powell seems to have learnt a lot of lessons from last season. I just feel there is a lot more to come from them.
