This is exactly the type of post I would expect from a Cas fan. After you typed the word unsure you should have left it at that !

The guy is a council newbie and DEPUTY portfolio holder. The portfolio holder is Jaquie Speight and her ward is Altofts and Whitwood, . Anly clue why that could be important ?

I will tell you Irony, we are having to go through all this crap. You lot are being given a stadium free of charge and the recipients are a limited company , one of the shareholder being Box.

Calm down mate; you’ll do yourself a mischief!
It was a a light hearted post not intended to incite & as for the Cas fan thing, I know you’ve had to put up with more than enough trolling, but surely I’ve been on here long enough for you to know that’s not what I’m about (you do realise I’m missing out on the proposed community facilities just as much as you too & was thinking in wider terms than just free grounds for anyone, more the closed swimming pools & selling off of sporting pitches etc)
Also, the reason I put unsure is because I have no problem admitting I’m not the font of all knowledge & am prepared to learn.

Bit harsh there PB, I always think Steadygetyourboots on is a good respectable poster, not a troll in any sense of the word.

I don't. I sense a degree of frustration that he is hampered in fulfilling his duty/role by a Council Leader who has his own agenda.

Just before Poptart comes along and tells me off....
this is just my opinion, and I don't have any evidence to back it up other than the distinct lack of desire to make Yorkcourt fulfill their obligations.

All very noble but this is playing right into the hands of Box. He'll just fill his cabinet with nodding dogs and cement his position as dictator.

In a statement given by the Labour Party, Coun Box said: "The new Cabinet team will be formally approved by Full Council at a meeting on Wednesday October 24. "I am confident that the councillors who will be taking up these positions will have the knowledge, enthusiasm, experience and dedication needed to serve the district well."

"I am confident that the councillors who will be taking up these positions will be hand selected by me and will do my bidding at all times"
